i have many lj problems


1. i selected S1. in the "custom options" of my lj, i have already added a setting for a 1px black border

1. Livejournal is really weird when it comes to borders. I even tried to put borders around certain images in my profile and it wouldn't let me. It has a lot of programing put into it in regards to layout, so they don't want people to customize it too much aside from just changing the colors and adding a background image. The people who come up with those super fancy layouts are very advanced HTML experts. You'd be better off sticking to something simple.





2. The ads show up only on "Plus" accounts, which are free, but give you certain extra features in exchange for ads in your journal. If you click on your Account settings on the homepage, you can get rid of the ads by switching to either a "Free" or "Paid" account. The free account will take away some of your user pictures and not allow voice posts or polls, but it will get rid of the ads. The paid account also gets rid of the ads, and for $20 a month, you get twice as many user pictures as you have now, more voice posts, and more polls.
Reply:I have a question if I switch to the paid account I'll get rid of the ads? but then if I want to go back to free would I have the ad's and the bottom search bar back on there? Report It
