How do I make LiveJournal icons (100 x 100 pixels)?
You can use photoshop or even MS-Paint. I use Paint-Shop-Pro and it's companion tool, Animation Shop.





Animations is just a series of .gif files (typically) with sufficient changes to look like animation. It could be 10 or so .gif files and with the animation shop, you can have it do effects like shifting or blinds. Photoshop might be able to do that, I'm familiar with Paint-Shop-Pro.
