Why can you only have 1000 friends on livejournal???

i have 170 of people who are my mutual friends...


will livejournal ever let me go past 1000 friends? what does it take?

I don't think you are limited to 1000 people that can be your friend. It just means that you are limited to 1000 DISPLAYED Friends names on your profile.
