Sites that normally never log out (livejournal, photobucket, etc) now need to me log in everytime i go on them

I haven't made any changes to my internet options.

any help would be great in response to why this is happening :)

thanks in advance!

The thing is with hackers and viruses getting stronger its harder to protect users. The having to log in lessens the chance of some programs from stealing your information.the programs are autimated and can hit alot at once. Some sites are even increasing what you have to do to log in.
Reply:The most probably thing that is happening, is that that someone else is manually deleting you cookies (what retains your authentication/password info). This is most likely to be because they are covering their tracks, and possibly doing it inadvertantly. There is a "Clear Private Data" button in Firefox, as well as a similar 'delete all' button in IE. This deletes not only cookies, but browsing history as well.

It is improbably that large, established sites like livejournal, photobucket, etc. are changing their cookie storage policies because it inconveniences the end-user.
Reply:You or someone who uses your computer are probably deleting the cookies...thus erasing your saved passwords.

Take care.
Reply:Maybe you deleted cookies from your computer or maybe your anti-spyware program did it as part of its normal routine. Some cookies help websites identify who you are so you don't have to log in. When you delete cookies, the website may not recognize you as you.
