I want to start a blog, and I've pretty much narrowed it down to the 2 sites. I want a blog that has lots of features and options.
Between Xanga and Livejournal, which is the best?
Livejournal, because with Xanga only Xanga users can leave comments. And with Livejournal, you can have threaded comments (so you can reply to a comment, as well as the original post), which you apparently can't do on Xanga.
Also Livejournal is hooked up with OpenID, which makes it easier for you to leave comments on non-LJ blogs and vice versa.
It's also much larger and more well known. And it's built on open source software. case closed. :)
